CHAMOMILE

Delicate looking Chamomile produces wonderfully aromatic blossoms. Finely cut, spreading foliage is complemented in summer by tiny yellow and white flowers that look like miniature daisies. Both the leaves and flowers are used for tea and the flavor has been described as having a slight apple taste. Harvest flowers when fully open, young flowers have the best flavor, harvest often to encourage more blooms. Leaves can be used as well but they tend to have a bit of a bitter taste.

Great as an herbal tea!
