GRETEL EGGPLANT

2009 All-America Selection Winner.

The early tender Hansel Eggplant has a sister in Gretel, a new white eggplant. It's also an All American Selection winner and just as versatile and delicious. Nearly seedless, this eggplant is perfect for frying or baking. Eggplants appear in clusters of 3 to 6 on plants just 3 feet high and 2½ feet wide. The pure white fruit are sweet with tender skin even if they are mature beyond the ideal fruit size of 3 to 4 inches. If you don't want to harvest the entire crop young you can continue to harvest when and as you like for several more weeks!
