A great melon with great flavor, the slightly oval melons grow to about 4 pounds and are ribbed and very heavily netted. The delicious deep orange flesh is firm, juicy and has a thick texture. Melons do best when grown in hills and in fertile well drained soil that is kept evenly moist. Keep well watered during warm weather. Harvest by cutting cantaloupe off vine with a knife to prevent damage.
