SPEARMINT

One of the most popular mints, this popular herb releases a strong flavor and fragrance with simple bruising. The bright green, toothed, spreading foliage is enhanced by edible, purple flowers in summer. Sweetly aromatic spearmint is versatile and can be used in cooking for mint jelly and sauces and in potpourri and other fragrant decorative items.

Steep leaves in boiling water for a soothing tea or bruise leaves and add to iced tea for a cooling, refreshing summer drink.
